Within our own lives, we had a recent marriage of one of our children. During the time of preparation, considering many choices, discovering likes and dislikes, and making final decisions, there was an item that eluded us; the infamous wedding favor.

One would think; how can that be? But, unfortunately, it is oh so true, (as many wedding planners will attest). That small item which sits in front of everyone for the entire reception, is either immediately thrown in the pail, or is kept and seen for years to come as a remembrance of that very special day.

We literally spent months scouring the internet, local wedding centers, floral shops and department stores. What did we find? Small frames, almonds wrapped in tulle, small candles, and a host of other non-essential and unwanted items that we were to spend a large sum of money on to fill many garbage cans.

So, what did we do? We did what the majority of the world looking for event favors does; we bought one of the above and gritted our teeth while doing it. But, as amazing as it seems, it truly impacted us. After that experience, we made a promise to ourselves, that when our remaining two children were to be married, that we would give their guests a wedding favor that they would cherish and forever keep as a heart-felt remembrance of those shared moments.

We spent hours upon hours investigating products and websites; perusing catalogs and investigating products sold by mail order. Finally, after much effort and deliberation, we decided to create our own website, Designs To Remember, and fill it with unique, imported bottles and fillings that anyone would be proud to give to their guests.

Life is short. And each and every day we create new memories as we go from passage to passage. Some memories we record on film, others just on our hearts. And marriage is a very important part of an all important passage. Allow us to help you make this special event into a cherished moment, and a part of your life that will be with you for years to come.
